Friends of the Library Meet in Support of the Jefferson County Public Library

On Friday, October 13, 2017 the Friends of the Library for the Jefferson County Public Library met to organize in an effort to support the needs of the Jefferson County Public Library located at 1269 Main Street Fayette, MS.  Also in attendance was Mr. Matt Gully (Director for the Copiah-Jefferson Regional Library System).

The Jefferson County Public Library Summer Reading Registration is June 1, 2017 to June 30, 2017. The theme for 2017 is "Build A Better World".  You may come by the library at 1269 Main Street Fayette, MS to pick up your child/children registration package between 9:00 AM and 4:00 PM.

REMINDER!!! 50% OVERDUE FINE FORGIVENESS!!!



For the first time ever!!! The Copiah-Jefferson Regional Library system will waive 50% of all OVERDUE fines during National Library Week!

If your access to the library has been impeded by overdue fines, we are offering you a chance to start over with a clean record.

In celebration of National Library Week (APRIL 9-15) the Copiah-Jefferson Regional Library system is please to offer a "50% Overdue Fines Forgiveness" Program at all locations (Hazlehurst, Crystal Springs, Georgetown, Wesson, and Fayette). During National Library Week, you pay 50% of overdue fines and the library will waive the balance on all returned books, DVDs, and other materials.

Fine forgiveness only applies to returned materials and cannot be used towards replacement, damaged, or lost material fees. Please contact the library staff concerning special instructions for non-overdue fees at (601) 786-3982.

Computers Donated to Library

Londell and Lasheka Eanochs donated four Dell Desktop computers and accessories to the Jefferson County Library in December 2016.  The Eanochs stated, "We want to support the library with whatever means we can provide for its continued operation.  We want to enhance the education of the patrons, both adults and students, to improve their qualities of life."
